Degree Requirements

Students must complete 30 credits of coursework with at least a 3.0 (B average) to graduate with a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science Policy and Advocacy. Students may complete the program in one year (two semesters) attending full-time, and two to three years part-time.

Students have the flexibility to choose from the recommended electives as well as any elective offered by the Department of Microbiology in order to tailor the program to fit their interest.

Students can take an optional capstone course (BSPA/BHTA 7906 for Fall, BSPA/BHTA 7907 for Spring). You may take one or two semesters of the capstone course depending on the length and complexity of your project. Please reach out to Dr. Tomoko Steen to discuss a plan of action before registering.
